Fall Gingersnap Cookies

Do you guys love fall as much as we do? Fall is all about great flavors that build up to the holidays. Have you ever had gingersnaps before? Gingersnaps hold the taste of fall ! Taste and see. You can’t resist when the smell of it fills your house. Tell us what your favorite scent is in the fall 🙂


  • 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cups of butter
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves


1. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats

2. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl

3. Combine all wet ingredients in a separate bowl

4. Slowly fold in the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until incorporated

5. Place bowl in the fridge for 30-40 minutes or until the dough is firm

6. Set oven to 350F

7. Using a ice cream scooper, scoop and form balls. You can also roll out the dough and cut out shapes like we did.

*If you aren’t decorating your cookies like we did, sprinkle sugar

8. Bake for 14 minutes or until the cookies firm up

9. Cool on a wire rack, decorate, and enjoy 🙂
