Spring Rolls

Do you need something light and filling? Counting calories? Enough with the tv ad questions. We know we dont have to sell you on how good these rolls are. Vietnamese Spring rolls aren’t high in calories and are actually nutritious. So when you’re think of grabbing those cookies in the pantry, grab these instead. We also apologize for our lack of posts. We have been so busy with work, school, and moving things we have had little time to write. We hope you still love reading our recipes and continue to follow us! We will be back on track soon !

Spring Rolls 

  •  Rice vermicelli, depending on how many rolls you are making
  • 2 julienned carrots, more if necessary
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Shrimp, peeled and tails removed
  • Rice Paper wrappers
  • a bowl of water

*Amounts of all these ingredients vary upon how many rolls you decide to make


1. Place rice paper in a bowl of water, wait until the rice paper becomes soft and remove from the water. Place on a towel and pat until dry, ensuring not to rip the rice paper

2. Place dry rice paper on a plate

3. Place vermicelli on the rice paper and place 1-2 carrots and lettuce on top

4. Once you have placed all three ingredients, place the shrimp on top of the carrots and lettuce

5. Tuck the sides of the paper in and roll, just like you would with an eggroll

 Serve & Enjoy 🙂
