Party Guacamole

Guac anybody? Who could ever go wrong with this simple party dish. Throw in some chips and go to town ! Your taste buds sure will. Feel free to double the amounts of ingredients to make even more delicious guacamole for a larger group. For now this enough for just the two of us. YUM!

Ingredients

Chips

3 ripe avocados

1 lime

2 jalapenos

A handful of cilantro

1/4 red onion

2 tomatoes (or more if you like more tomatoes)

*2-3 teaspoons of sriracha (optional, but just for kicks)

1/2 teaspoon cumin

pinch of garlic powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon salt

 pepper to taste

*(do not use tabasco, but tapatio can be used as a substitute depending on your taste )

 Preparation

1. Separate pieces of cilantro. Place unused stalks in a jar to keep them fresh

2. Dice all your vegetables including your cilantro and jalapenos, BUT NOT YOUR AVOCADO. ONLY SPLIT THE AVOCADO INTO HALVES

3. Make sure you keep the juices of the tomato together. You will be using it in your awesome guac!

4. Placed the halved avocados in your serving bowl.Throw in all your ingredients. Add in the cumin and sprinkle the salt and pepper to taste. Then throw in the sriracha (or tapatio) and adjust to your liking

5. Lastly, mash with a  fork 7-12 times. Stir to combine, but don’t over stir the mixture. Its good to have chunks of ingredients in the guacamole, that way it doesn’t look like mystery dish at the party.

6. Squeeze some lime onto the guacamole. Add a side of chips and serve ! Chips are essential to this dish ! We suggest blue corn chips ! Theyre the best. Enjoy 🙂
