Herb D’ Provance Popovers

Popovers are a great snack or breakfast to make when you’re on the go. You can make it the day before or right before you leave. It’s super yummy when they’re warm. Plus they’re mini and you can share them with everybody.

Ingredients 

3/4 cups of all purpose flour

3 eggs

3/4 cup of freshly grated smoked fontina cheese or smoked gouda

1 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon of herb d provence

2 tablespoons of parsley

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation 

1. Butter your muffin pan and preheat oven to 400F

2. Mix all the dry ingredients, including the herbs in a bowl

3. Grate the cheese

4. Pour in milk and mix until it forms a smooth batter

5. Mix in the cheese

6. Pour the mixture into the muffin pan and bake for 20-25 mins depending on your oven

*No peeking! Your popovers won’t have the signature popover look and loose it’s shape when you open the oven

7. Cool on wire racks & take it on a picnic !

It’s also great to spread some butter on these cute popovers
