We meant to post this recipe ages ago, but we never came to actually posting it. Don’t ask us why. Call us lazy, call us busy, or late posters. Whatever it is, we hope you enjoy this tasty deep fried goodness πŸ™‚

Fish & Chips

1 Fillet of your choice of fish. We recommend Bass

1-2 cups Potatoes



1 cup all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup of milk

1 cup of sparkling water

3/4 teaspoon pepper

1 egg



1. Cut fish into smaller pieces or leave them how they are depending on your preference. We like to keep ours in smaller portions

2. Cut potatoes into whatever size and shape you like. We just kept it at the traditional cut.

3. Make batter and season fries

4. Fry fish & fries at 350 F until golden brown. You can test out your oil by dropping a teaspoon of batter into the oil when it fizzles, pop up to the top when golden brown, and does not stick to the bottom your oil is at the right temperature for deep frying.

Make sure the oil does not get extremely hot or cold. Keep it at the same temperature for even cooking and distribution of heat. Serve immediately and enjoy πŸ™‚
