Yum, yum fish. It’s easy to fry your own fish at home and if you haven’t had some deep fried tilapia before, well, you’re missing out; emphasis on the missing out. All you need is the big easy 4 ingredients, 3 of which you already have sitting in your spice cabinet! That is, if you cook at all. Even without the dipping sauce, it is already scrumdiliumptious ! This is a pool this fish would not enjoy swimming in. Enjoy 🙂
- Gutted & Cleaned Tilapia
2. Coat both sides of fish evenly and generously with salt and pepper
3. Once the temperature has reached 350 place fish in oil and fry until it no longer sticks to the bottom of the pan. Once it becomes the crunchy consistency you desire, remove from pan. See it’s that simple !
* If when frying only one side is frying, flip once it is no longer sticking to the bottom of the pan. Flip carefully insuring not to break the fish meat into tiny pieces. Holes in frying fish is no fun !
- Soy Sauce
Squeeze half a lemon into a small bowl and add soy sauce to desired taste
