California Cheese Burger

Don’t you just love beach lighting? It makes life so much easier. The sun, the sounds of the waves crashing on the sand, the smell of the ocean breeze is all too relaxing. A nice day at the beach calls for some grilling. Yes, we all know how simple a cheeseburger can get right? Surprisingly, some people have yet to try one or know how to put one together. Being California residents, we love the so-called “California” burger thats topped with bacon and avocado slices. Who can resist bacon or avocados ? Whoever thought of inventing this burger is sure a genius. This burger is so delicious that your special diet is sure to be ruined after taking a bite into this. Yum Yum!

Grilled California Cheese Burger 

  • 1/2 cup of ground beef or hamburger meat
  • 1 Slice of Cheese
  • 1 Slice of Lettuce
  • 1 Slice of Tomato
  • 1 Sesame Seed Bun
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup (adjust to your preference)
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonaise
  • 3 slices of Avocado
  • Onion Slices
  • 2 slices of Bacon
  • salt and pepper to season

Preparation 

1. Season the ground beef/ hamburger meat with salt and pepper

2. Place on the hot grill and cook until brown, flipping over only once

3. Once the meat starts to turn from a pink to a brown, add your onions to the grill

4. After the onions have been grilling for a couple of minutes, place them on top of a meat patty for an onion flavor

5. Add your buns onto the grill to toast them lightly and add the cheese on top of your patties.

6. Once the buns are lightly toasted, place the patty on the bun

 

7. Add the rest of your veggies, bacon, and avocado on the burger and top with the bun. Take a bite, kick back, relax, and enjoy the beach! Build a fort even 🙂
