Cantaloupe Strawberry Popsicle

It’s been pouring cats and dogs where we live and even our puppy is grabbing shelter in the rain. So when we got the request to do our challenge Kulinarya our minds went crazy thinking of what to make. The challenge consisted of creating something that reminded us of home. We remember from our childhood days, our mothers would make Cantaloupe juice all the time. On hot summer days in California Cantaloupe juice and strawberries on the porch were the best things around. In light of that, we were inspired to combine both! Why not right? Enjoy 🙂

Cantaloupe Strawberry Popsicle

  • 1-2 Cups Cantaloupe juice
  • A handful of strawberries, to your preference
  • A half a box of rasberries
  • Popsicle molds or cups & popsicle sticks

Cantaloupe Juice

  • 1 Cantaloupe, otherwise known as rockmelon
  • 6 cups of Water
  • 1 3/4 cups of Sugar


1. Cut melon in half & scrape out the insides removing the seeds

2. Place the “meat” of the melon in a pitcher

3. Add water & sugar

4. Stir & adjust to taste

* If it’s too sweet for your preference add more water

 4. Wash and Prepare Strawberries

5. Place Cantaloupe juice, strawberries, and rasberries in the blender

 6. Blend until it has a smooth consistency

7. You don’t need to add sugar because the Cantaloupe juice should be sweet enough, however, add more sugar according to your own judgement.

 8. Place in popsicle molds or cups and stick a popsicle stick in the cup

 9. Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, if not overnight.
